    Over the past year, my Polygon Syncline C5 hardtail has been my go-to cross country race bike. It's a lightweight carbon fiber rocket that I've dedicated an entire season to, documenting every moment along the way.
    After sharing my experience, many of you suggested that I might do even better on a full suspension XC race bike. So, I decided to take the plunge and see for myself!
    In this video, I’m excited to introduce you to my new full suspension XC race bike: the Superior XF979 RC. Superior Bikes, though not widely known in the US, have a strong reputation in the UCI World Cup XC racing circuit. This bike is a gem, offering incredible specs at an unbeatable price.

    I just saw these bikes on Bikesonline and was impressed. Excellent review, by the way. I currently ride/race a Scott Spark RC with 6k miles and have been contemplating a
    replacement. I tried the new Scott and didn’t care for the new “modern” geo. And , all the upper spec. models force you to get electronic shifting, which I see absolutely no need for. This bike and the Canyon Lux are at the top of the list for me. And given the Lux is never in stock , I’ma fixin to order one of these.

    • @AdrenalineIsLife
      @AdrenalineIsLife  6 дней назад

      @MrSplicer1111 it's a great deal for the price and still a somewhat more traditional geometry, which I think is best for most amateur level racing.

A part of me wants to get into XC really hard but I worry that I won't have as much bike as I need to if I wanted to take the bike to something just a bit gnarlier. Running tubeless reduces the rotational mass of the bike, which improves acceleration and fatigue over time.
